Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain’s days in Italy could be numbered, as Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign the Argentinian in the summer.
Reports state the Premier League side have already made an offer to land the Argentine ace, even going so far as to suggest that terms between the club and player have been agreed upon.
However talk of out Naples suggest an imminent departure is premature, as it appears Serie A’s current Capocannoniere, who has scored 27 times this season, is more focused on returning to the pitch as soon as possible for the Partenopei, who play Genoa on Sunday at the Stadio San Paolo.
That said, Higuain didn’t participate in training on Thursday because he was at the Castel Volturno sporting centre receiving physical therapy for a knock he took to his right ankle on Wednesday.
On Friday, the Argentinian attacker is once again expected to take the field in hopes of continuing his side’s Scudetto charge on against the Grifone.
