Serie A leaders Juventus look set to continue their pursuit of Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco when the summer transfer window opens in June.

Recent rumours have seen the Spaniard and Colombian star James Rodriguez both linked with moves away from the club as coach Zinedine Zidane starts planning for next season following Los Blancos’ derby defeat to Atletico Madrid, as they now sit 12 points back of leaders Barcelona.

Although there aren’t any doubts regarding the technical quality of the two players, the Frenchman is reportedly looking for a more balanced squad to compete on both the domestic and European stage in the coming years.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Juve will offer a fee in the region of €30 million while the La Liga club will be holding out for a fee closer to €40m mark.

The sale of the two stars could fund a move for the Old Lady’s Paul Pogba, with Zidane an admirer of the former Manchester United midfielder and recently instructing the Madrid hierarchy to do everything they can to secure his signature.
