A potential move to Liverpool for Fiorentina midfielder Mario Saurez has been given a boost thanks to the Tuscan club’s willingness to sell him cheaply.
Suarez has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, appearing in just eight Serie A games so far this season.
He only joined La Viola last summer but could be set for an early exit this January with Premier League side Liverpool interested in his services.
Due to Fiorentina planning on life without Suarez in the squad, a relatively cheap sum of just under €8 million would reportedly be enough for them to let him go.
Suarez has previously been linked with a transfer to another Premier League club in Watford and the Viola hierarchy are seriously considering parting company with the player so soon into his Gigliati career.
He has failed to find regular playing time despite some excellent performances with previous side Atletico Madrid before moving to Italy.
