The Croatian international suffered an ankle injury that forced him to miss the Nerazzurri’s Coppa Italia defeat to Juventus, but several days of treatment have proven to be enough, as Roberto Mancini will be able to count on him against the Rossoneri.
His return to fitness means the Italian tactician will have every player available for selection come Sunday, with Perisic a possible candidate to be handed a spot in the starting XI where he would play behind the attacking duo of Eder and Mauro Icardi.
The former Wolfsburg man made his debut for the club in that exact role in the first derby of the season, a match the Nerazzurri won 1-0.
However Adem Ljajic may have a say in whether Perisic starts or has to settle for a place on the bench, as it is believed the Serbian is also a candidate to occupy that position as Inter look to put their recent woes behind them by securing three points against the Rossoneri.
